So you don't want critiques. Thanks for telling me beforehand. Disabling comments is a very, very childish way of dealing with this situation. Why not just put a disclaimer in the artist's comments saying that you don't want critique? I don't have a problem with you not wanting my advice. What I have a problem with is you doing something as immature and flat out rude as what you did.

And that whole "I want to learn by myself" thing? Um, yeah. You're actually kind of deluding yourself there. You can't learn without outside influence. You can learn from your own mistakes, yes, but it takes so, so much longer, because it's not easy to recognize when you've made them in the first place and when you try again, you might do it wrong in a different way. In other words, yes, those flaws will be there, they'll just be different. Or, maybe they'll be exactly the same and you won't be able to draw any other way. They say that practice makes perfect, but the truth is that practice makes permanent. I would never be at the level I'm at today, low though it be, without other people helping me, giving me tips and advice and such.

But I digress. It's obvious you don't want my advice, so why should I bother to give it?

Please take no offense from this comment or any I have posted before. I don't wish to hurt you, make you feel bad about yourself, any of that icky stuff. I only wanted to help you improve and I respect that you don't want to. I realize I may not be wording this in the most delicate way possible, but I really don't want to insult you or anything. Please keep that in mind.

I still want to be friends. I mean all this in the nicest way it could possibly be interpreted.
